ALLATOONA BANDS
PHOTO & MEDIA POLICY
Our Approach to Photography
The Allatoona Band program documents performances, competitions, and events through photography and video. This media is used to celebrate student achievement, support program communications, and build the program's archive.
Where Photos Are Used
Photos and videos of program activities may appear on:
- This website (allatoonabands.org)
- The program's official social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook)
- Printed program materials, including competition programs and season recaps
- Recruitment materials for prospective students and families
Photography at Public Events
Performances at football games, competitions, and public events are considered public performances. Photography and video recording by program staff, volunteers, and members of the public is expected at these events.
Student Privacy
We are mindful of student privacy in all media use. We avoid publishing content that includes personally identifiable information alongside student images. Photos emphasizing individual students in non-performance contexts require parental consent.
Third-Party Photography
Booster volunteers and parent photographers contribute significantly to the program's media archive. Media contributed to the program may be used in communications and archival materials.
