The Allatoona Band Booster Association powers everything behind the performance.
ALLATOONA BAND BOOSTER ASSOCIATION
The Allatoona Band Booster Association is the parent-volunteer organization that makes the Allatoona Bands program possible. ABBA funds equipment, transportation, competition fees, instructional staff, and student experiences that fall outside the school's operating budget.
Every family with a student in the band program is automatically a member of ABBA. Every dollar donated to ABBA goes directly to the program, to the students on the field and in the concert hall.

VOLUNTEER COMMITTEES
Every committee is a direct investment in the students. No experience required, only a willingness to show up.
Pit Crew
Moves and maintains front ensemble equipment for all marching performances and competitions.
Express Interest →Truck Crew
Loads, transports, and unloads equipment for away performances and competitions.

Constructs, paints, and maintains all marching show props throughout the season.

Provides adult supervision and support for the Color Guard at all performances.

Provides adult supervision and support for marching members at performances and competitions.

Coordinates meals and refreshments for students and staff at rehearsals, performances, and competitions.

Distributes, maintains, and collects band and guard uniforms throughout the season.

Documents performances, rehearsals, and events for program records and communications.
Express Interest →Pit Orchestra
Coordinates volunteer musicians who support concert ensemble performances.

Manages the program's merchandise inventory and handles sales at performances.

Plans and executes fundraising events and campaigns to support the program's budget.

Coordinates all volunteer and logistical aspects of the Conquest invitational competition.

Manages program communications including newsletters, social media, and website updates.

Plans and executes the program's senior recognition events and gifts.

Organizes the annual awards celebration honoring student and volunteer contributions.

The Allatoona Bands program depends on a combination of student dues, fundraising, and direct donations to operate at a championship level. Our primary annual fundraiser is Conquest, our invitational marching competition that also serves as a community event for the Acworth area.
Additional fundraising opportunities include our spirit store, corporate sponsorships, and community events throughout the year. Every dollar raised stays with the Allatoona Bands program.

Donations to ABBA fund competition travel, equipment maintenance, instructional clinicians, and student experiences beyond what the school budget covers. Every contribution directly supports the students who represent Allatoona High School.
