EIGHT PROGRAMS
The Allatoona Band program offers eight programs spanning concert, marching, jazz, percussion, and visual performance. Placement in concert programs is by audition. Marching Band, Color Guard, Jazz Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble are open to all qualifying students.

Symphonic Winds
The most advanced concert ensemble at Allatoona. Placement by audition; performs advanced literature at concerts and GMEA-sponsored festivals.

Intermediate woodwind, brass, and percussion. Placement by audition; performs advanced literature at concerts and GMEA festivals.

Select woodwind, brass, and percussion players. Placement by audition; performs at concerts and GMEA-sponsored festivals.

Marching Buccaneer Band
Open to all band students. Rehearsals 2–3 times per week plus occasional Saturdays; performs at all home football games and competes across Georgia and the southeast.

Color Guard & Winter Guard
The visual ensemble of the Marching Buccaneers. Students perform with flags, rifles, and sabers; Winter Guard competes independently in the spring. Open to non-band students.

Jazz Ensemble
A select group of brass, saxophones, and percussionists. Begins in the spring semester and performs at concerts and regional events.
