Symphonic Band

Intermediate concert ensemble performing advanced literature.

Symphonic Band consists of intermediate woodwind, brass, and percussion students. Placement is based on auditions held each spring.

The ensemble performs advanced literature at concerts throughout the semester and at GMEA-sponsored festivals, with continued emphasis on music theory and instrument pedagogy.

All Allatoona Band concert ensembles have received superior ratings at the GMEA Large Group Performance Evaluation every year since the program opened in 2008.
